In this episode we talk about our favorite all-natural protein bars (no selling, we just really like these things), Greg decides on-air to sign up for Austin's Fittest Man competition, the difference between athletic and performance training versus physique training, and why you lose your appetite when you're infatuated with someone.

Have you ever lost your appetite when you start "talking" or when you enter an exciting new relationship? Or are we the only people in the world who this happens to?

Quest Bars Mini-Review
Over the last week I've tried every Quest Bar on offer.

One of my go-to foods since January has been protein bars - I eat them whenever I have a sweet craving and find that they generally do a great job of curbing that craving and filling me up.

The main problem with this habit is that until now, all of the protein bars I've been choosing (ie Metrx, Pure Protein, Oh Yeah!, etc) are FULL of artificial ingredients... like A LOT. In the midst of my otherwise natural diet I don't really worry too much but I general get kind of gassy and if I eat more than two bars I seriously feel sick and need to pound water until I feel better - probably not a good sign.

So I always feel slightly bad about my choices in this regard, until now.

Greg mentioned Quest Bars as a high fiber, all-natural protein bar solution on a past show recently then I ran into them at PaleoFX - and proceeded to eat eat and eat their Protein Peanut Butter cups (tastes like Reese's).

They sent me a sampler box (which I proceeded to destroy handily - and enjoy every bite) so I wanted to write a little review here with my honest opinion.

So here's the main takeaway: They have a lot of flavors. Some are better than others. My favorite ones were SUPER good though and I'll definitely be grabbing these instead of Metrx bars from now on.

*PRO TIP: Microwave these for 5-10 seconds - holy sh** they're good, especially the chocolate chip cookie dough.

My favorite flavors are:

	Peanut Butter cups
	Chocolate chip cookie dough
	Strawberry cheesecake
	Berry Bliss
	Coconut Cashew
	Banana Bread
	Cinnamon Roll

The nutrition information is as follows: you'll see very few ingredients which is always a good sign. I'd never heard of Lo Han Guo but here's a good article on it.

So yeah - I do recommend them, and not just because they sent me a box. I know Greg recommends them as well.

Don't make them the bulk of your diet - but if you have a sweet tooth or a ragin' inner fat kid (like me) then these should be a great solution for a smart dessert every now and then or a quick meal on the go.

I hope this is helpful!

Walker

**Apparently I've been living under a rock and a lot of other people really like Quest Bars too - their facebook page has over 330,000 likes! </itunes:summary>
